For more than 20 years, I have worked in leadership, education, and community service, helping people solve problems, build partnerships, and create opportunities. I am ready to bring that experience to City Hall.

ABOUT HASSAN

Like many of you, I am more than a resident of Don Valley North. I am a husband, a father, a neighbour, and someone who is proud to call this community home.

My family experiences the same everyday challenges faced by families across our neighbourhoods. We balance household expenses as the cost of groceries, housing, and childcare continues to rise. We experience traffic congestion and unreliable public transit. We understand the uncertainty of job losses and the difficulty of finding new opportunities.

I am not a career politician. I believe public service should be rooted in integrity, accountability, and putting people before politics. It means listening before speaking, collaborating instead of dividing, and delivering meaningful results for the people we represent.

I hold an MBA with a specialization in Finance and am also a professionally qualified Management Accountant. Over the past 20 years, I have worked in leadership, education, and community service, bringing people together, building partnerships, solving problems, and helping organizations grow. Throughout my career, one lesson has remained constant: the best decisions begin by listening.
